All AVM audiophile masterpieces with AVM X-STREAM Engine® can be conveniently updated either directly on the device or via the RC X App for iOS and Android. If you still wish to perform a software update via USB, you will find the appropriate software and installation instructions for download on this page. For software and firmware updates for AVM devices without AVM X-STREAM Engine, please contact your local AVM Store or contact the AVM Factory Service.

HDMI ARC revisions:
In this update, we have made resilience improvements to improve the ARC input against faulty TV implementations.
IMPORTANT:
Please note that after the update a complete hard reboot of both the AVM and the TV is required. To do this, please unplug the power cable or use the rear device switch.
Fixed HDMI addresses: If it is not possible to establish an automatic connection via HDMI, a fixed address can now be assigned in Settings -> Device settings -> Inputs -> HDMI addresses.
What is the correct address?: In most cases, the HDMI address corresponds to the number of the HDMI input (HDMI1 = address 1.0.0.0).
Bugfixing: Various minor issues have been corrected
Streaming services: The various streaming libraries have been brought up to date.

With which devices does the RC X work?
Answer:
With all devices of the .3 Generation. These are equipped with the AVM X-STREAM Engine® and can only be controlled with the RC X App.
Please keep the software of your .3 devices and the RC X App always up to date, because older versions may have limited or no functionality e.g. with supported streaming services.
RC S App
With which devices does the RC S work?
Answer:
With all .2 generation devices. These can only be controlled with the RC S App.
Please note: The RC S does not work to control the .3 Generation devices with AVM X-STREAM Engine®.
Please keep the software of your .2 devices and the RC S App always up to date, because older versions may have limited or no functionality e.g. with supported streaming services.
RC X App
Questions about the RC X:
With which devices does the RCX work?
Answer:
With all devices of the .3 Generation, these are equipped with the X-STREAM Engine and can only be controlled with the RC X.
The RC S does not work to control the .3 Generation devices with the X-STREAM Engine.
Please keep the software of your .3 devices and the RC X App always up to date, because with older versions the functions e.g. with the streaming services can be limited or not work at all.

With which devices does the RC S work?
Answer:
With all .2 generation devices, these can only be controlled with the RCS.
The RCS works to control .2 generation devices. The RCS cannot control .3 generation devices.
