A Modern Media Player: The Combination of CD Player and Streaming
In the tradition and with our accumulated experience since the 1990s to develop digital playback devices without compromise in terms of sound, the new High Performance Media Player MP 30.3 has been created based on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®. Numerous new features have been incorporated into this 30.3 device and the new RC X APP also controls the MP 30.3 completely. Separate digital playback devices for CD and streaming functions are no longer necessary. The playback option for CD collections will be retained and expanded to include the almost infinite music catalogs of the streaming providers.
All modern connections are available, so that a TV can also be connected via HDMI ARC. In order to achieve our goal of constructing one of the most powerful sound on the world market with this compact media player, we have miniaturized proven sound technologies from our large media players and designed them into a shapely, screwless precision housing.
The main focus was on a completely modernized APP control system. The RC X app clearly contains all important functions. The simplest, intuitively learnable operation as well as a clear and nicely designed user interface make the management of even large music collections child’s play. This makes you want to explore new music on numerous streaming platforms. The AVM RC X app is available for iOS (Apple) or Android-controlled devices. In addition, basic functions can also be controlled via the included RC3 Full Aluminium remote control.
The new AVM X-STREAM engine® can stream all high-resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a complete in-house AVM development and is completely software-based, so it can be updated online in a future-proof manner. An HDMI (ARC) interface is also on board as well as the modern Bluetooth connection, further digital inputs and also a USB A interface are standard. Completely new are the digital outputs, which can also be volume controlled. The HDMI ARC input makes it easyto connect TVs and control them conveniently.
The MP 30.3 has also made a big leap in terms of sound. This sonic advancement is based on the use of technologies and circuits proven in other AVM MP players. The key tonal characteristics of the MP 30.3 are achieved through the use of state-of-the-art D/A converter stages and have been optimized for use in the CS 30.3 cabinet.
The digital section in the MP 30.3 was redesigned from the ground up in the course of the new development, because this crucial part of the MP 30.3 is basically based on our decades of experience. A selected ESS from the new generation (9038 Q 2 M) is now used as a digital-to-analogue converter, which is also a clear gain in terms of sound, which benefits all digital sources and reproduces all high-resolution formats perfectly and true- to-life.
