The Ovation MP and CD models of the 8.3 and 6.3 series combine excellent sound quality with state-of-the-art technology. The main difference lies in the technology: the MP 8.3 and CD 8.3 models rely on the Ovation 803 T tube preamplifier, which is valued for its warm and musical sound. In contrast, the MP 6.3 and CD 6.3 models use precise transistor technology, which stands for neutral and analytical sound reproduction.
The MP models offer modern streaming via the AVM X-Stream Engine® in addition to the CD functions. They support services such as Qobuz and TIDAL Connect and allow HiRes streaming up to 192 kHz / 24 Bit. The CD models focus on pure CD playback and offer exceptional sound fidelity with the TEAC Pure-CD drive. All variants have digital and analogue connections, a dimmable graphic display and an elegant aluminium housing in silver or black.
