With 250 W at 8 Ω and an impressive 450 W at 4 Ω continuous power, it drives even the most demanding loudspeakers effortlessly. 24 MOSFET transistors per channel guarantee maximum current levels of up to 60 amps, which ensures powerful impulse peaks and finely nuanced music reproduction. The fully DC-coupled signal routing and transistor-based input stage ensure outstanding sound purity, bringing out even the finest details of your favorite music.
Its tube input stage adds warmth and harmony to the sound, while the high damping factor of 185 and an upper cut-off frequency of 41 kHz ensure impulse-strong, unadulterated sound. With a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 89 dB and a channel separation of 90 dB at 10 kHz, the SA 8.3 guarantees maximum transparency without any blurring.

Innovative
technology and excellent workmanship
The Master Edition SA 8.3 is based on proven concepts from the Ovation line, combined with state-of-the-art technology. Two 1000 VA toroidal transformers and two separate power supply units ensure a stable and loss-free power supply for the power amplifiers and the processor unit. Large energy storage units with over 136,000 μF capacitors per channel enable impressive pulse peaks of over 450 watts at 8 Ω or 900 watts at 4 Ω. With XLR and RCA inputs, the amplifier offers flexible connection options for various sources.
The high-quality aluminum housing, available in silver or black, optionally with chrome-plated CELLINI front, underlines the timeless elegance of the design. The delivery comes in a sturdy AVM flight case, which additionally emphasizes the quality and longevity of the amplifier. The dimmable, high-contrast display and the included remote control allow for intuitive operation and maximum flexibility.

„AVM implementiert seine neue, bahnbrechende X-STREAM Netzwerktechnik in die neue Gerätegeneration. Was dadurch mit absoluten Top-Amps passiert, ist ungeheuer spannend. Und Röhren sind auch noch mit dabei. Die Topologie scheint wie aus dem Bilderbuch des Verstärkerbaus zu stammen, zu dem AVM-Entwicklungschef Mania ja im Grunde schon seit Jahrzehnten selbst fleißig beiträgt. Die schon zu Lebzeiten legendäre und klangprägende AVM-Röhrensektion bildet in der „Über“ Endstufe gewissermaßen die Eingangstür. Dieses klangveredelnde Juwel, das durch ein entsprechendes Fenster im Gehäusedeckel anheimelnd leuchtet, liefert genau das Quäntchen Charisma und Strahlkraft, das die jeweilige Komposition und ein exzellentes Gerät aus Malsch mitunter perfekt machen.“
