The MA 30.3 mkII is a powerful Class A/AB mono power amplifier that delivers 300 watts at 4 ohms and is based on the legendary AVM 30.3 series. Designed for true music lovers, it combines traditional amplifier technology with modern innovations. The MOS-FET output stage combined with the large 550 VA toroidal transformer ensures a stable power supply and top-class sound quality. Two separate power supplies for the pre-amplifier and power amplifier guarantee high signal purity and precision in sound. The amplifier has comprehensive protection circuits against DC voltage, overheating, and short-circuits, ensuring the highest levels of safety during operation. The filtering with over 40,000 µF also contributes to a smooth current flow.
The casing of the MA 30.3 mkII is made from lacquered sheet steel and comes with an elegant, brushed aluminium front, available in silver or black. This high-quality construction provides a stable base for the hefty transformers and the sensitive electronics. The bi-wiring terminals allow for flexible speaker connection, while the gold-plated inputs (XLR and RCA) ensure loss-free signal transmission. Thanks to the innovative AIR function (AVM Intelligent Remote), the power amplifier can be conveniently switched on and off when connected to an AVM pre-amplifier – no additional trigger cables required. The automatic operating modes (signal-sensitive, trigger, continuous operation) provide further flexibility for integration into any setup. The MA 30.3 mkII combines the legacy of the legendary M3 amplifier with modern features of the Ovation series and offers a unique combination of classic performance and innovative comfort for an extraordinary sound experience.
