Tube or Solid-State – Your Choice

The PH 5.3 unites the best of two worlds: a proprietary tube line stage brings that signature tonal magic that has made tubes indispensable for generations – warm, expansive, alive. Thanks to AVM’s bespoke circuit architecture, the tubes achieve an extraordinary rated life of approximately 20,000 hours. The PH 3.3, by contrast, is fully solid-state, delivering the same feature set and specification with an equally distinguished character – transparent, fast, and vanishingly quiet.

Precision Meets Flexibility

Both MM and MC cartridges are fully supported. Five gain settings, six MC impedance values, and six MM capacitance values allow pinpoint matching to virtually any cartridge on the market. Those pairing with an AVM Cadenza (by Ortofon) benefit additionally from dedicated presets for instant, perfect configuration. All parameters are easily adjusted via the front panel or IR remote.

An integrated module slot allows expansion with the premium PH8.3 modules – for those who wish to evolve their system gradually, without ever having to replace the component itself. Progress without starting over.

The screwless precision aluminium enclosure, at a compact 43 cm width, sets a new standard in aesthetic refinement. Minimalist, symmetrical, unmistakably AVM. Available in Aluminium Silver, Brushed Black, or as the CELLINI Edition with its hand-polished chrome fascia. Every single unit is assembled entirely by hand at our facility in Malsch, passing through rigorous multiple quality inspections and a multi-day burn-in before it leaves our doors.
