High-performance streaming amplifier with phono excellence
The AVM AS 3.3 and AS 5.3 streaming amplifiers are based on the AVM X-Stream Engine® and offer modern, intuitive control through the RC-X app. They combine all modern connections, such as HDMI ARC for TV and a high-performance phono input for MM/MC systems with complete customisation, thus replacing complex device combinations. The screwless aluminum casing impresses with minimalist elegance and high-quality design.
Experience vinyl anew – with the high-performance phono stage
The completely redesigned phono input stage of the AS 5.3 unlocks the full fascination of analog music reproduction. Whether MM or MC cartridge – every pickup system finds its ideal partner here. All sound-relevant settings can be uniquely and conveniently adjusted directly in the AVM app – without any cable connections or complicated switches. The connection between your turntable and the AS 5.3 becomes an experience: precise, musical, vibrant. In perfect harmony with our ROTATION turntables, an analog sound emerges that captivates – richly detailed, emotional, and simply incomparable. Once you’ve heard it, you won’t want to lift the tonearm.

Tube sound versus pure transistor: AS 5.3 and AS 3.3
The AS 5.3 stands out with its Tube Line Stage, located in the preamplifier section. These tubes, custom-made for AVM, reveal their sonic charm through a specially developed tube stage. AVM’s proprietary circuitry ensures a long tube lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours.
The AS 3.3 operates as a pure transistor device, offering a more neutral sound signature. All other connectivity and performance specifications are identical to the AS 5.3.
Sound technology and amplifier power
The AS 3.3 and AS 5.3 offer significant sound quality thanks to powerful amplifier stages delivering 350 watts at 4 ohms, effortlessly driving any speaker. The digital section is based on the ESS9028 PRO Double-Quad DAC, which operates with four DACs per channel and perfectly reproduces high-resolution formats up to 384/32 PCM and DSD 256.

Hand-crafted precision and quality control
The Evolution AS devices are available in aluminum silver or black, and can also be ordered in the exclusive Cellini version with a chrome front and polished knobs on request. All devices are handmade in the AVM factory in Malsch and undergo intensive quality controls. An extended warranty of up to four years is available with online registration.
